Charnwood 12" Double Bevel Compound Sliding Mitre Saw with Lazer and Stand

305DB 12" Double Bevel Mitre Saw with W212 Folding Floorstand. For anybody needing to move the mitre saw around between different sites, or just needing to pack it away when not in use, this package is an ideal solution. The mitre saw is bolted onto the two runners which are supplied with the floorstand. The floorstand assembles in seconds and the saw sits on top locked on by two quick action levers. Handling longer lengths of timber whilst working solo, is easy thanks to the two extendable support arms which go out to a full 2m width.

The design of this double bevel mitre saw gives a huge cutting capacity but uses clever design to minimise the amount of space it requires in the workshop. To create the compact size, the two guide bars remain stationary and the head slides along the bars on smooth linear bearings.

The mitre saw is capable of a 4" deep cut in timber and a width of over 12". To speed up cutting we include a mains powered (no batteries!) twin laser guide with one laser aligned to each side of the blade. Pencil lines drawn on timber ready to cut can quickly be lined up with the blade.

The required mitre angle can be quickly and accurately locked in, using the large comfy rubber grip at the front of the table. A large scale marked out in degrees allows any angle up to 48 degrees left or right to be set and locked off, although the most commonly used angles are pre-set and will engage automatically.

The double bevel feature which allows the blade to tilt to the left or right is a great benefit when doing jobs requiring lots of bevel cuts such as fitting skirting boards. Any angle can be locked off, although once again the most commonly used angled have pre-set stops which locate automatically.

The vertical clamp for holding the work piece down to the table can be fitted on either side of the blade, has a capacity of 105mm, particularly useful when working with longer timbers. In addition there is a horizontal clamp for holding timber up against the back fence. The clamp has a capacity of 220mm with a quick action adjusting system and a strong screw thread lock.

The base has four rubber feet, which are removable to reveal four fixing points for securing the mitre saw to a workshop bench, workmate or quick action clamps for use with a saw stand. The dust bag provided will collect some dust but whenever possible it is recommended an extractor is connected to the outlet. Depending on the diameter of the hose on the extractor, an adapter or Reducer will be required.

Supplied with 60 tooth TCT blade, 40mm diameter extraction outlet, dust collection bag, vertical work clamp, horizontal work clamp, left & right work piece supports, cable and plug.

W212 Compact Mitre Saw Stand

  • Folding Legs - No tools Required
  • Quick Action Clamps - Mount & Dismount in Seconds
  • Extendable Roller Supports - Height Adjustable Too
  • Light Weight and Portable

Incredibly strong yet incredibly light is the best way to describe this new model. The legs quickly fold down, without the need for any tools, and are made from round tube to keep the weight down. There are two roller supports, one at each end, which are adjustable to prvide complete support for work pieces up to 2 metres in length. There is also a flip-up stop attached to each roller which speeds up repeat cuts.

Probably the best feature is the quick action clamping system. Any tool can be mounted onto the stand, or taken off for transport, in a matter of seconds. The two base runners remain attached to the tool and a simple lever locks the runners onto the stand. For smaller bench top machines you might even mount two at the same time. Maximum recommended weight is 80kg.
