6" Bench Grinder and Chisel Sharpener.

A sturdy little bench top sharpener with a cast iron base and a smooth induction motor. The grinder sits on 4 rubber feet which can be removed to bolt it down to a work bench. an integral work light fitted above each wheel ensures that the work area is well lit at all times. For doing close up work one of the perspex guards doubles as a 3X magnifier to make life easier for the operator.

One end of the grinder is fitted with a coarse Aluminium Oxide grey stone for fast removal of material. Perfect if you get a chipped chisel tip and need to remove a lot of material. The other end has a white stone which is used for sharpening heat sensitive tools such as High Speed Steel (HSS). The white stone is used for sharpening woodturning chisels.

Each wheel is fitted with an adjustable metal tool rest which can be tilted to various angles and can also be set close to the wheel. The left hand tool rest also has a groove set into the top at 30 degrees for sharpening drill bits.

Supplied with spark guards, 1.75m cable and plug.
