Choose the Right Grade for a Perfect Surface:

Fine: 0000 - 000 - 00:

• Wood:

  • Grade 0000 Plus: Cut back between coats of French polishes and varnish finishes.

  • Grade: 0000: Polishing waxed wood. Smooth matt finish for highly polished wooden surfaces. Removal of water stains on waxed wood.

• Paint:

  • Grade 000: For intermediate sanding on varnish or shellac.

• Metal:

  • Grade 0000 Plus: Polish bronze, copper and aluminium.

  • Grade 000: Gives a bright shine to items made of copper or brass.

• Cleaning:

  • Grade 0000 Plus: Cleans glass without smears.

  • Grade 00: Grease and soot removal from plastic blinds and aluminium window frames. Cleaning glass and mirror surfaces.

Medium: 0 - 1 - 2:

• Wood:

  • Grade 1: Sanding and polishing wood surfaces after priming and before applying first coat of paint.

  • Grade 2: Spreading wax on wood and stone floors in a thin, even layer.

• Paint:

  • Grade 1: In combination with varnish remover, removal of old varnish from antiques.

• Metal:

  • Grade 0: Removal of oxidation on copper, polishing copper pipes and fittings before soldering.

• Cleaning:

  • Grade 0: Complete removal of dirt and footprints from linoleum and rubber floors.

  • Grade 2: Removal of wax and dirt residue on wooden surfaces. Cleaning floor and wall tiles as well as plastic tiles.

Coarse: 3 - 4 - 5

• Wood:

  • Grade 3: Sanding of primed wood, highlighted the natural structure of the surface.

  • Grade 5: Removal of stain residue on wooden surfaces after stripping.

  • Grade 6: Very efficient stripping of old paint from wooden surfaces.
